The WalkAide system utilizes patented tilt sensor technology and functional electrical stimulation (FES) to analyze the movement of the leg and stimulate the appropriate nerves, prompting the foot to lift with every step. The gentle electrical impulses produced by WalkAide activate the muscles to raise the foot at the appropriate time during the step cycle, creating a more natural and efficient walking pattern.

- Defying Limits Walk/Run
Kamil and the entire staff of Precision Prosthetics & Orthotics participated in the very first Defying Limits Walk/Run to raise funds for amputees! Often times insurance covers very little when it comes to losing a limb. All net proceeds went to a non-profit organization that assists with financially helping amputees with medical and limb loss costs. Precision Prosthetics & Orthotics was also one of the sponsors of the event. The event was a huge success, and we are so glad that we could be a part of it!
